Shipping valuable assets worldwide brings its own security problems and issues. A customer needed to transport valuable items inside special strong watertight containers. The boxes were to be distributed worldwide which demanded high security during shipping and transfer. And, they wanted to track the assets inside the box-clearly, an accurate GPS tracking device was needed to fit the solution.
System Requirements
A global leader in asset tracking needed to track valuable assets accurately and securely-door to door. They found the ARKNAV R-35 Cube GPS Covert Tracker a favorable solution. However, to further fit their requirements, they needed a special customized unit with a few modifications. A special tough plastic waterproof container called a Pelican box 1440 was used with our R-35 Cube Covert Tracking solution inside. The customer asked us to add an external GPS antenna, contact sensor and a charging port, so the unit could be securely fixed inside the Pelican box. The R-35 Cube has a special design which has the capability to have a built in 5500mA or 11000mA battery for extending its tracking duration, and with its waterproof chassis and magnets, it is easily attached without complex installation. ARKNAV R-35 Cube GPS Covert Tracker can be applied to all kinds of asset tracking solutions for monitoring valuable goods, cargo, and expensive equipment.
The requirements for this solution were as follows:
